Terms of Service

These terms are written in plain English on purpose — Game Set Log is a small, independently-run product, not a large company with a legal department. By downloading, opening, or paying to unlock Game Set Log, you're agreeing to the points below.

What Game Set Log is

Game Set Log is a match-logging and stats app that helps you record singles/doubles matches, serve and error stats, and see trends in your performance over time, based on the data you enter yourself.

Game Set Log is not coaching advice. It's a record-keeping and analytics tool based on the figures you provide — it doesn't watch you play, and its stats and trends are only as accurate as what you log. Use your own judgement about what the numbers mean for your game.

Two versions

• Offline version: a single downloadable file, no license check, no account, no server connection ever. It's yours to keep and use however you like, personally.
• Web version (PWA): the same features, plus a one-time license key check on first use and the ability to install to your home screen. Once verified, it also works fully offline.

Both are sold as a one-time purchase — not a subscription. You won't be charged again.

Purchases, delivery, and refunds

Purchases are made through Gumroad or Payhip, and their own terms and refund policies govern the transaction itself (payment processing, receipts, chargebacks). On top of that, if Game Set Log isn't right for you, email thinlinestudioshop@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase and we'll issue a refund — no questions asked. If you were issued a license key, we'll revoke it as part of processing the refund.

Your license key (web version / PWA)

Your license key is personal to you — please don't share, resell, or publish it. We may revoke a key that's been leaked, charged back, or refunded; revoking a key doesn't delete any match data already saved on your device, since that data was never sent to us in the first place.

Your data

Your matches and stats are stored only in your browser's local storage — see the Privacy Policy for details. This means:

• We can't recover your data for you if you clear your browser, switch devices, lose your device, or reinstall/reset your browser profile. Use Export/Share regularly if you want a backup.
• We aren't liable for data loss from browser behaviour, device issues, or anything outside Game Set Log's own code.
• Moving data between devices, or between the offline and protected versions, is done manually via Export/Import — there's no automatic sync, by design.

Acceptable use

Please don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for resale, or misuse the license-verification system in bad faith. Personal use, installing on your own multiple devices for your own use, inspecting the code out of curiosity, or feedback/bug reports are always welcome.

No warranty, limitation of liability

Game Set Log is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on the app's stats or trends, or for any indirect or consequential loss (including lost data) arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If you're purchasing from elsewhere, your local consumer protection laws may also apply.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
