Privacy Policy

Quiet Path is a calm, low-pressure planner built to reduce cognitive overhead — not add to it. This policy explains what data it collects and why — in short: almost nothing, because almost everything stays on your own device.

The short version

• Everything you enter — actions, brain dump notes, victories, settings — is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. It is never sent to, or stored on, any server we control.
• The offline version (the single .html file you download) never contacts any server, ever, for any reason.
• The web version (PWA) checks a license key against our server once, then works fully offline from then on. That check sends only the key itself — not your planning data.
• We don't use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising trackers of any kind inside the app.

Your planning data

Everything you add in Quiet Path — actions, brain dump entries, victories, streaks, and your name/settings — is saved with your browser's localStorage, on your own device. It stays there unless you export it yourself (via Backup in Settings) or clear your browser's storage. We have no access to it, no copy of it, and no way to see it. See our Cookie Policy for the specific storage keys involved.

License verification (protected/PWA version only)

If you're using the license-gated version, the app sends your license key to our server once, to confirm it's valid. That request:

• Contains only the license key you were sent — no planning data, no personal details beyond what's needed to check the key.
• Is checked in real time and isn't logged beyond what's needed to serve the request and prevent abuse.
• Never repeats — once verified, your device remembers the result locally, and the app works offline from then on.

The offline download version has no license check and makes no server requests at all.

Local notifications (protected/PWA version only)

If you turn on reminders in Settings, Quiet Path can show up to three local notifications a day. These are scheduled and fired entirely on your own device through your browser's service worker — the times you choose, and a log of when a notification last fired, are stored in local storage only. Nothing about your reminders is ever sent to us.

Payment data

Purchases are handled entirely by Payhip, our sales platform. We never see or store your card details — they're handled under Payhip's own security and privacy standards. We only receive what's needed to fulfill your order (typically your name/email and purchase confirmation), which we use solely to generate and send your license key.

Technical data

Quiet Path is hosted on CF Professional Services (cfproservices.com). Like virtually any website, our host's infrastructure may log basic technical information (such as IP address and request timestamps) as part of normal server operation. We don't access or use these logs for anything beyond keeping the site running and investigating abuse of the license system.

What we don't do

• We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking tool within the app itself.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We don't build a profile of you, your habits, or your progress — we couldn't, even if we wanted to, since your planning data never reaches us.

Your rights

Because your planning data lives only on your device, you're already in full control of it: use Backup in Settings to download a copy at any time, or Clear all data in Settings to delete it permanently from that device. For anything related to your purchase or license key, email us and we'll help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
