Terms of Service

These terms are written in plain English on purpose — Quiet Path is a small, independently-run product, not a large company with a legal department. By downloading, opening, or paying to unlock Quiet Path, you're agreeing to the points below.

What Quiet Path is

Quiet Path is a calm, low-pressure planner that helps you capture what's on your mind, focus on one next step at a time, and see your progress build up — without the pressure of a busy, feature-heavy productivity app.

Quiet Path is not a substitute for professional advice. It's a personal planning tool based on what you enter yourself — it doesn't diagnose, treat, or manage any condition, including ADHD. If you're looking for clinical support, please consult a qualified professional.

Two versions

• Offline version: a single downloadable file, no license check, no account, no server connection ever. It's yours to keep and use however you like, personally.
• Web version (PWA): the same features, plus a one-time license key check on first use, the ability to install to your home screen, and optional local reminders. Once verified, it also works fully offline.

Both are sold as a one-time purchase — not a subscription. You won't be charged again.

Purchases, delivery, and refunds

Purchases are made through Payhip, and Payhip's own terms and refund policies govern the transaction itself (payment processing, receipts, chargebacks). On top of that, if Quiet Path isn't right for you, email thinlinestudioshop@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase and we'll issue a refund — no questions asked. If you were issued a license key, we'll revoke it as part of processing the refund.

Your license key (web version / PWA)

Your license key is personal to you — please don't share, resell, or publish it. We may revoke a key that's been leaked, charged back, or refunded; revoking a key doesn't delete any planning data already saved on your device, since that data was never sent to us in the first place.

Your data

Your actions, brain dump entries, and victories are stored only in your browser's local storage — see the Privacy Policy for details. This means:

• We can't recover your data for you if you clear your browser, switch devices, lose your device, or reinstall/reset your browser profile. Use Backup regularly if you want a copy.
• We aren't liable for data loss from browser behaviour, device issues, or anything outside Quiet Path's own code.
• Moving data between devices, or between the offline and protected versions, is done manually via Backup/Restore — there's no automatic sync, by design.

Acceptable use

Please don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for resale, or misuse the license-verification system in bad faith. Personal use, installing on your own multiple devices for your own use, inspecting the code out of curiosity, or feedback/bug reports are always welcome.

No warranty, limitation of liability

Quiet Path is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on the app, or for any indirect or consequential loss (including lost data) arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If you're purchasing from elsewhere, your local consumer protection laws may also apply.

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
